The Theurge focuses his divine faith into cursing his enemies and summoning forth baleful maladictions.


Theurge Class FeaturesEdit

The Theurge gains the following class features:


Weapon ProficienciesEdit

As a priest, the Theurge gains training with flails, bludgeons, hammers, swords and crossbows.


Armor ProficienciesEdit

As a priest, the Theurge gains training with light armor, heavy armor, and Shields.


Magic ProficienciesEdit

As a priest, the Theurge can perform divine prayers and invocations, usually using the Religion skill. His magic damage bonus is equal to his Wisdom modifier.


Skill ProficienciesEdit

As a priest, the Theurge gains training in Religion and History.
Additionally, divine malediction grants training in Persuasion, and and covenant of wrath grants training in Intimidation.

Divine MaledictionEdit

Baleful MaledictionEdit

(daily immediate actionattack invocation)

Prerequisites:

Divine Malediction

Target:

One enemy within 10 paces (Religion vs. Will).

Hit:

1d6 + [ magic damage bonus ] damage of a type determined by your Faith, and the target suffers a penalty to all attack rolls and defenses equal to your Charisma modifier until they dispel or break the curse.

Miss:

Half damage, and the target suffers a -2 penalty to all attack rolls and defenses until the end of your next turn.

When you choose an at-will trance, you may choose from the following options.

Baleful GazeEdit

(at-will standard actionprovoking attack prayer)

Prerequisites:

Divine Malediction

Target:

One creature within 10 paces (Insight vs. Will)

Hit:

The target grants advantage until the end of your next turn. On a critical hit, or if already granting advantage, the target suffers an additional -1 penalty to all defenses until the end of your next turn.


Covenant of WrathEdit

(theurge class feature)

  • You gain training in the Intimidation skill.
  • When you use a per-encounter or daily attack prayer or invocation that deals damage, you gain a bonus to damage against each target equal to the number of targets.
  • You gain the prayer Wrath of the Gods:

Wrath of the GodsEdit

(per-encounter free reactionstrike prayer)

Prerequisites:

Covenant of Wrath

Trigger:

You hit a creature with an attack.

Effect:

+1d6 + [ magic damage bonus ] damage of a type or types determined by your Faith, and the target gains vulnerability to those damage type(s) until they dispel or break the curse. If the target already had vulnerability to one of your Faith's damage types, the target is weakened until they dispel or break the curse.

When you choose an at-will prayer, you may choose from the following options.

Instill FearEdit

Prerequisites:

Covenant of Wrath

Target:

One creature within 5 paces that can see or hear you (Intimidation vs. Will)

Hit:

You push the target a number of paces equal to your Charisma modifier, and the target grants advantage to your allies until the end of your next turn.
